Originally numbered 3001-3002, these units were purchased by the Government of Alberta and were first run in Edmonton. They had Edmonton Transit builder's plates but eventually were sent to Calgary. These light rail vehicles are powered by dual 136kW DC motors which put out 181HP at 1585RPM.
