Edmonton Transit System - Blue/Silver Siemens U2 Light Rail Vehicles

   • Three of Edmonton Transit's Siemens U2 vehicles now have a new look to them.  The cars are 1008, 1017, and 1029.  January 2, 2004 was the day that they got their first chance to show off their new blue and silver paint scheme to the public.  The train was supposed to run all day as Train 2.  Car 1008 was having some door problems, but stayed on the line for quite a while  It was taken off to be washed late in the evening due to a stain on the exterior.  The train went from three cars down to one car in the evening.  The interiors have no visible differences other than having the new Priority Seating sticker which can also be found on buses.  The blue portion of the paint scheme is reflective.
