• On February 16, 2010, a fellow transit enthusiast and myself came across BC Transit's 2009 Yaxing JS6840GHP bus in Squamish, BC. This 30' long community bus is one of its kind in North America. Imported from Yangzhou Yaxing Motor Coach Co. Ltd. based in Yangzhou, China, this bus was jointly designed by officials from BC Transit and Yaxing Coaches. It likely has a Cummins ISB engine coupled to a ZF Ecomat 4 transmission, and probably will operate in Victoria, BC.
