• May 2, 2009 marked the end of nearly 70 years of trolleybus service in Edmonton. Following a policy of no weekend trolley service, the final trolley runs in the City of Edmonton occurred on this Saturday on routes 3 and 120. Brill 202 offered free trips throughout the day as a route 3 extra. BBC 152 was the last trolleybus in service. A celebration of sorts was held at Westwood Garage, with BBC trolleys lined up on the tarmac, and 6002 on display.
